How to do a Drain Tank (mains-connected)

1 - Turn off the Water Inlet Valve. 

It is located at the bottom left hand corner of the Tank.

The picture below shows the valve in the ON position with the blue handle vertical.

To switch to the OFF position turn the blue handle through 90 degrees so it is horizontal.

2 - Switch on the Drain Pump. 

The Switch is located at the top of the Cabinet next to the White Light Switch.

3 - Once Tank has drained. Switch off the Drain Pump.

4 - Wipe the inside of the tank with a  clean cloth or paper towels. 

5 - Take off the sponge filters from the air circulation pump in the bottom of the tank. Squeeze and rinse  these out under warm water until the water runs clear. Put them back on.

6 - Turn the Water Inlet Valve back to the ON position. 

7 - Add 90mls Nutrients.

The tank will now start to fill up. 

NOTE

The Drain Pump will timeout after 10 minutes.

To restart the Pump turn the switch off then back on

You may need to do this if the tank has not fully drained.
