If your WiFi settings change, the configuration of your Evogro cabinet must be updated for continued operation. There are two methods to update your WiFi settings. Which method you use depends on the hardware revision of your cabinet. Newer cabinets can use the portal method, which involves connecting directly to the cabinet and entering your WiFi details in a special webpage. If you are not sure which method your cabinet supports, please contact Evogro support.
The portal method involves connecting your phone to a special WiFi network, and then entering your WiFi details. If your cabinet loses it's connection to the WiFi, it will create a network, named Evogro-xxxxxxxx where xxxxxxxx is a string unique to your Evogro cabinet. If you have more than one cabinet, you will see multiple such networks, and you should complete this procedure for each cabinet.
When you connect to the network, on most phones you will get a notification that you should open a page to connect to the internet. An example is shown below
If you don't receive this notification, you can also access the configuration screen by opening a browser app and entering evogrostart.com in the address bar
Select your network from the list, and enter the key in the box provided, then click the submit button. If your network is not listed, or no networks were found, click the Reload Network List button to rescan for available networks.
After you click the submit button, a confirmation message will be displayed, and your phone will disconnect from the configuration network.
If you accidentally typed the password incorrectly, after a few minutes, the Evogro-xxxxxxxx network will reappear, and you can attempt the process again.
The tethering method is available for those cabinets that don't have hardware support for the portal method above. This method involves tethering your cabinet to your phone, which allows Evogro support to connect to your cabinet to update the WiFi details. Contact Evogro support before beginning the procedure, and have your WiFi information to hand.
