How to top up your tank (standalone tanks)

Fill the 10 (or 5) litre watering can to the top with cold water.

Shake the Nutrient bottle well. Add 60 (or 30) mls of Nutrients to the watering can.

Remove the tank cover, pour in the can of water/nutrient mix. Do not fill past the "Max Fill Line" or the lower ridge of the tank.

In the App, mark the task as complete. 

Wait 10 mins then check the pH  (The Nutrients will bring down the pH)  then measure the pH of your tank using the pH meter.

Using a pipette, add pH down to the tank so that the pH is as close to 6.0 as possible. The acceptable range is 5.5 to 6.5. Only add 1ml at a time and wait one minute for it to mix in before taking a new pH reading.
