You can change some settings for your Evogro by clicking the cog icon in the header bar. When you have changed any settings on this page, click the Save Settings button to save them.
You can disable monitoring if you will be turning your cabinet off and you do not wish to receive any notifications. Monitoring will automatically turn on when the cabinet is turned on, so change this setting only after you have switched off the cabinet.
You can select different modes depending on your service contract. The following settings are available:
Optimised
Available on the Professional plan only. In optimised mode, your grow plan will be calculated automatically, and you will receive tasks telling you when and where to sow crops, and when to harvest. All growing parameters are software-controlled by Evogro.
Automatic
Available on the Professional and Premium plan. In automatic mode, you decide where and when to sow crops. When you record that a tray has been sown (see How to manually Record a Sow Tray), the growing parameters are automatically set by Evogro.
Manual
Available on all plans. In manual mode, you control the growing parameters.
The sunrise setting controls when the grow lights will turn on. The setting represents an hour of the day, so 6 means the growing day will start at 06:00. The growing day does not need to be synchronised with the actual hours of daylight in your location!
You can choose to have some hours of the day where the grow lights will be switched off. You may for example choose not to operate the grow lights during periods where the room is occupied. However, setting more than 6 hours where the grow lights are off will compromise the quality of your crops. In the picture, the setting is configured to have grow lights off from 09:00 - 15:00. It's recommended to leave this setting at the default.
You can choose to have the white viewing lights turn on during certain times of day. This may coincide with the setting above, but can be different. Turning this setting on for a few hours when the room is occupied can be interesting, however you should avoid turning this on for more than a few hours per day, as the crop quality may be affected.
